Pork Chop Sautee with Onions |
It has been a while since I blog about some of my cooking recipe. I thought this Pork Chop and Bakchoy were delicious so I would like to share this to you guys.
Over the weekend, I was bored and decided to cook a nice dinner for my family. When I cook, I really dont make any plans on what to cook. It's kind of just whatever was on my freezer and fridge. So I grabbed the Pork Chop from my freezer and let it thawed. I also grabbed a bunch of fresh bakchoy. Actually, this one was called "Suchoy". I can only find this one at the Asian Market.
So here's the Ingredients for PORK CHOP read below;
- 1 lbs. thinly sliced Pork Chop
- 1 yellow big onion (sliced)
- 1 pk gravy
- 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
- a pinch of salt and pepper (optional: replaced with McCormick Grill Mates seasoning)
- a dash of dried basil/parsley.
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
Preparations:
In a heated pan, brown minced garlic with olive oil. Sprinkle the pan with dried basil/parsley (your choice, I used both), salt and pepper or McCormick Grill Steak Seasons. Lay the Pork Chop and sprinkle seasoning on top. let it brown both sides.
Now set the pork aside. Brown the sliced yellow onions on the same pan. Add 1 cup water, pour the sachet of gravy and keep stirring till it's thicken. When done, pour the gravy/sauce on top of Pork Chop. You can garnish it with fresh cilantro or basil. Enjoy!
My step-son Jayden were crazy about the Pork Chop. He was picking the onions first and he thought that Onions were stingy and bitter but when he had a first bite he thought it was Superlicious. He also, thought that Adobo'ng Bakchoy was delicious. He had a full serving of it. (I used the Mama's Best Toyomansi Soy Sauce)
